Designer
Raised in the culturally rich city of Hyderabad, Varun Chakkilam is an Indian designer; known for his eponymous label.
At an early age of 17 years, he was introduced to the world of creative arts and luxury when he started working for a theatre group. That enriching experience taught him the value of intricacy and promising craftsmanship, for his creations ahead.
With a curiosity to learn and observe different folds of the world, Varun gained his foundation knowledge at NIFT and through his work experience at a multi-designer store. To understand the dynamics of being a designer and the responsibilities that it brings along, he worked with a prestigious Hyderabad based designer. As his confidence and skills developed, the birth of Label Varun Chakkilam was indeed inevitable.
Varun is immensely inspired by the aristocracy, regal looks and elaborateness in all forms of design. A lover of unconventional artistry and everything fine in life, his label presents the clientele with a marvellous range of handcrafted ensemble poetry. These designs are brought alive in the city of Hyderabad, where Varun spins new magic to the world of bridal & fusion wear with his team.
